Silk and gold meet in the new D'orica accessories

A pure silk and top quality yarn meets D’orica spheres in a soft weave. A precious thread holds together golden memories: remembrance, which revives and awakens dormant passions.

At VicenzaOroWinter 2015, we presented some prototypes of silk and golden accessories, the creative result of our commitment to the reconstruction of an ethical 100% Italian silk production chain. The design of these new models follow the same process as any D’orica jewel: the study of weave meshes and shapes, from the simplest to the most sophisticated, with the same passion and precision in the production. The difference lies in the soul. In our classic models the thin chain that holds the spheres together is hidden, while here the protagonist is the silk wire. A delicate and top quality yarn, created with the amazing cooperation that awakened dormant passions and brought people, companies and institutions to work together for the revival of silk production in Italy.
