D’orica hosted at the Istituto Marangoni in London

Friday May 8, 2026, we were invited by the prestigious Istituto Marangoni in London. With campuses in Milan, Florence, Paris, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Mumbai, Miami, and Dubai, it is one of the world’s leading institutions in the fields of fashion, design, and creative education.
Some of the most important figures in the global fashion industry, such as Franco Moschino and Domenico Dolce, are alumni of this institute. It frequently collaborates with leading companies in the fashion and design sectors, such as Bulgari, Cartier, and Maserati, on projects and workshops dedicated to its students.

We had the pleasure of sharing our B Corp-certified business approach, which is, first and foremost, a philosophy of life and embraces the challenge of responsible production, thereby sending a strong message to the students who represent the future of the next generations.
Giampietro Zonta presented the history and values of D’orica: a small-to-medium-sized Venetian company that has come to export its products to more than 40 countries worldwide since 1989 and has become the first B Corp-certified industrial jewelry company in the world. Our commitment spans many areas—environment, community, people, and products—each essential to achieving the highest standards of ethical responsibility.

We shared insights on how to build a style with a strong and recognizable identity, exchanging ideas with talented students from various countries. Daniela Raccanello, the creative force behind D’orica, guided participants through the process of working with semi-finished pieces, demonstrating how unique jewelry takes shape through masterful craftsmanship. The students will have the opportunity to keep trying to work with these bronze semi-finished pieces that have been donated to the school. The event conveyed the value of meticulous craftsmanship in tailoring with needle and gold thread, a process that demands absolute precision and attention to detail.

During the workshop, the students had the opportunity to explore their creativity and manual skills, attempting to create pieces using D’orica’s techniques, demonstrating curiosity, imagination, and enthusiasm.
“For us, being welcomed into an institution of such international renown was a privilege and a significant recognition of our journey, our values, and our experience.” – Giampietro Zonta.
